Here Tropico De Sangre marks a near lawsuit with Miss Rodriguez. Carlos Leiter, president of the Minerva Mirabal Foundation, was pretty PO’d.

According to reports, Carlos wanted to sue Michelle and the film’s director, Juan Delancer, unless all of the film’s profits would be donated to his and other foundations honoring the Mirabal sisters.

According to Collider, Michelle is in final negotiations to co-star in “The Jesuit”.

Variety.com reports that the film is about…

a man nicknamed “the Jesuit,” who is imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit. When his wife is murdered and his son kidnapped and taken to Mexico, he devises an elaborate and dangerous plan to rescue his son and avenge the murder.”
